- Promote the education of Social Entrepreneurship worldwide.
- Act as a source for virtual brainstorming and knowledge transfer.
- Provide practical mentoring to aspiring or existing social entrepreneurs.
- Provide a forum for aspiring and existing entrepreneurs to seek viable funding opportunities.
What is the World Wide Learning Organization?
The World Wide Learning Organization is hosted by its parent organization the
International Innovation and Alternative Leadership Center (IIALC).
The IIALC is a group of experienced educators and professionals in a wide variety of
disciplines with a common goal of promoting the field of Social Entrepreneurship.
The World Wide Learning Organization is a non-profit organization of collegiate
stakeholders who adhere to the philosophy Business should do well while
doing good.
Guidelines for Participation in the World Wide Learning Organization
The purpose of the World Wide Learning Organization (WWLO) brainstorming board is twofold:

To provide a means for our viewers to transfer, share, and develop solutions for
business and social dilemmas in the ten fields of social entrepreneurship:

To provide and share knowledge and ideas to our viewers that is related to the
ten fields of social entrepreneurship:

Corporate Social Responsibility

Diversity and Multiculturalism

Education and Literacy

Entrepreneurial Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities

Funding and Innovation

Health and Medical Ethics

Information Technology

NGO's and Social Welfare

Sustainable Business Practices
Ground Rules for participating in the WWLO Forum:

There can be no libelous, slanderous, racist, sexist, and/or vulgar language on this site.

There is to be no direct soliciting on this site without the approval of the Webmaster.

It is understood that participation does not automatically ensure that one’s
work will actually be posted for public viewing.

There will be an unspecified delay in time between the writing and the posting
of the participants’ contributions.

The International Innovationa and Alternative Leadership Center and/or its
designated moderators reserve the right to edit, shorten, or otherwise alter posts.

All participants agree to these terms and conditions of agreement.
Becoming Involved in the World Wide Learning Organization
Contributing to the WWLO is determined by ones skill set and ability to contribute,
whether time, financial, company or institutional resources.
Individuals
- Mentor aspiring social entrepreneurs.
- Apply to be on the WWWLO funding board.
Post Secondary Institutions
- Lend access to their resources.
- Provide internships that involve students and instructors in the WWLO.
- Provide students for joint research projects that promote social ventures.
College Instructors
- Open up their classrooms to social research projects.
- Be interviewed on the WWLO Web Site.
- Share publications and research.
Students
- Volunteer their time.
- Serve as interns.
- Conduct research.
Scholarships
Scholarships will be determined by the allied colleges of the WWLO as long as the
IIALC determines the topic areas fall within the following parameters:
- Alternative Energy
- Corporate Social Responsibility
- Diversity and Multiculturalism
- Education and Literacy
- Entrepreneurial Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities
- Environmental Studies
- Funding a Social Entrepreneurship Venture
